World's Most Expensive Hobbies

1. Rightfully touted as the most expensive cigar in the wold, the Gurkha's premier
cigar. His Majesty's Reserve, aren't just made with premium tobacco - they're
also infused with a generous portion of Louis XIII Cognac in a process that
retains the flavour of the tobacco. Each year, fewer than 100 boxes of His
Majesty's Reserve cigars are produced and Gurkha's president oversees their
allocation to retailers. The cost: USD 750 per cigar.

2. Created by Luis Vuitton, the Damier Geant Golf Bag is priced at USD 9,750. A fair
amount of cowhide went into the bag, as well, making up the piping, base and
parts of the removable strap. The bag features a zip-up hood, a number of
pockets, a rolling travel cover and even an umbrella to be used in case of
unexpected rain.

3. Owne by Aro Dynasty, a Dragon fish breeder based out of Singapore, this
particular aquatic vertebrate is 15" platinum arowana. Its white coloration is an
exceedingly rare mutation of the rather common arowana. Aro Dynasty has been
offered USD 80,000 for the fish. In fact, a UK importer even offered to buy the
fish for early USD 400,000.

4. The most expensive camel lives in the stable of Shiekh Hamdan, son of the ruler
of Dubai. Sheikh Hamdan has no plans yet for the USD 2.72 million female camel

Especially important for a camel-race loving Gulf nation.

5. In 2006, the Million-Dollar Lure was first unveiled. Made of both golf and
platinum and adorned with over 4,000 diamonds and rubies, it weighs 100 carats
total. And don't think that it's just for show. It was actually used at the 26th
Annual Brisbee's Blach and Blue tournament in Baja California, the largest marlin-
fishing tournament in the world.

6. Starpics, an Australian company known for plectrums made of precious metals,
created a unique pair of guitar picks made of meteors. These two luxury picks
were fashioned from pieces of Gibeon meteorite. Said to be around four billion
years old, Gibeon meteorites were discovered in 1836 in Namibia, Africa. Over 25
tons of the meteorites have been recovered and it is the most commonly found
meteorite on the market today. One of the most interesting things about the
meteorites is the pattern of Widmanstatten lines created by their frigid passage
through space. These patterns are preserved in the picks. The price" USD 4,675.

7. The world's most expensive tennis racket is owned by female tennis star Amelie
Mauresmo. After winning the Diamond Games tournament in Antwerp, Belgium three
times in the last five years, she was presented with the golden racket which is

was auctioned off to British pop-singer George Michael in 2000. Lennon compoised
and recorded the song "imagine" on it and was filmed playing the song on it for
the first time to wife Yoko Ono and the Plastic Ono Band. Believed to be a piece
of British history by many, Michael bought the piano at an auction for about USD \
2.1 million.

9. The Beckhams brought a USD 50,000 tree house for their children. Created by Dutch
Wapenaar. The Treetent resembles an overgrown pear and features a nine-foot-
diameter hardwood floor, a round mattress that can comfortably fit two adults and
adjustable planetary landing steps. It is an excellent investment for people who
want to go camping without dealing with all that inconvient nature stuff.

10.So what's the most expensive comic book in the world? All serious comic book
collectors will be synonymous in their answer: DC's Action Comics No. 1 (1938).
Why? Because it contained the first glimpse of Superman. According to Scoop, a
comics newsletter, a Comics Guarantee (CGC) - certified 4.0 (very good condition)
copy of Action Comics No. 1 was sold for USD 195,000 in May of 2006.
